I don't know if this is the place for this topic. If not let me know where I should take it.
I was checking out the Google ranking tonight and I came upon a website that had at least 3 of my Hubs on it! To make matters worse, I was not given credit for these Hubs! I noticed a few other Hubs by other people that I have read. I could not find any info on the site as to who ran it etc. The site is http://www.politics-socialissues.com/. Is anyone familiar with this? Is there anything I can do? Let me know.
You should report this to the Hub-team and keep looking for a contact link. I hit the site and saw several articles I'm pretty sure came from HubPages authors. The titles weren't even changed.
You'll need to file a DMCA. Our instructions for doing so are here: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint
I'm so sorry that happened. Good thing you spotted the issue!
There is another site doing the same thing.
And another games-toys-hobbies dot com They have one of my (unfortunately now unpublished) hubs word for word even including my copyright reference at the end..

Perhaps this is already widely known, but I have just found most of my hubs copied in their entirety on hubinfo.netThere are literally thousands of our hubs there, all categorized, basically a cheap replica of hubpages. Is there anything to be done about such a site?

Copied HubsIs it a good idea to contact the author first or immediately file a DMCA complaint when copied material is discovered? I'm finding it a challenge to keep up with this aspect. Thanks in advance for your help!

Today I received another RED copyright notice on an old hub, "The First Signs of Urticaria" and I followed the link to the alleged site in violation. What I found was an Advertisement (very lengthy) selling a product to get rid of hives. I looked around and couldn't find any evidence that...

There is so much of this going on that it may not be worthwhile to mention. Since I know that this site is not cooperative, I sent my DMCA complaint to Google. My hub is copied word for word with all the lovely photographs and even a link to another similar hub. It probably is my best hub with lots...

Hooray! For months now I've been trying to figure out who to report the "alleged" infringement on one of my hubs where 9 links to ads have been placed. Whenever I would click the link it would take me to an advertisement that required 3 attempts to leave the page without buying the...
