The Google traffic to my Hubs not only tanked but are in the minus numbers now. I don't have a clue why or what to do about it. I've always had decent traffic riding the ups and downs but hanging on. Now I'm drowning. I'm very discouraged. Can anyone help?
Numbers/traffic stats with minus signs are often the result of glitches. Ignore anything with a minus sign.
That's a new one....I'm not even a boss in my own house.............
How can you get traffic in the minus numbers? Have a visitor click and take it back? haha. It's a glitch, let it be. My traffic has dropped 20% in the past two weeks. I had one day where it approached normal but then went back down again. I don't know why... I updated some hubs and wrote new ones to try and prop it back up again but to no avail. Not sure what is going on but sometimes there are dips like these that work themselves out. I am as impatient as you are though.
Have you checked your numbers with Google Analytics? If my page views are down a lot (like several hundred) I will check over there, and sometimes the numbers are quite different. I certainly dont think GA is going to report a negative number!
See... HP has glitches every so often, like my answer being highlighted in yellow or cream??? instead of Simone's..........
I thought you had been promoted to Hubpages staff Luis. Your fat cheque should arrive at the end of the month.
Thanks....the $3.29 sure comes in handy...................
BTW; Simone won't give me the H back!!!!!!!!!!!
Check with Google Analytics they have the direct numbers from the seach engine. Allot of themes or sites like Hubpages or let say Squidoo like that often have issues with accuracy in there numbers. It is the same with AdSense you look on AdSense and get one number then Analytics and get a completely different number. Wait it out if the numbers do not adjust within a few days drop them a message and ask if they have had other people asking the same question about numbers.
Thanks, everyone. I'll check out Analytics and see what's what.
Everything is in order. Luis now works for HubPages and they are awaiting the arrival of a payment from you of $12.37.
I'm still in the negative numbers. This is getting rather discouraging.

I have been struggling with Google traffic and finally out of frustration, I unpublished close to 30 hubs that simply weren't getting traffic. If I leave these unpublished for more than 30 days, will they look new to Google? Would a video help these stagnant hubs?I have lessened the Amazon capsules,...

In the last 24 hours, I have seen multiple negative numbers under the traffic sources, from outside sources... What is going on?

I have been monitoring my traffic and it shows that I am receiving more traffic from Google. I am so happy because this can either convert in sales or clicks for me. I am loving this.. Here is a pic of my traffic in the last 24 hours which is in the first column..Traffic Comparison

I was sorry to see that this forum thread was closed to comments by HP:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/78912#topThere was a lot of good information going back and forth there. It may be that some snipe stuff went on between commenters, but the topic is still valid.I'd like to see it continue.

How is it that a hub on the 'common mistakes new hubbers make' can suddenly become not featured, in spite of the fact it has had 9 views in a day, 24 views in 7 days and 35 views in the last 30 days? I only replied to comments on it both 42 hours ago and 22 hours ago (from two different hubbers)....

Thought I would post this to see what other people's experiences are. I recently had a flood of hundreds of Google visitors to one of my hubs, which one would think would equate to many monies. Everywhere I go on this great interwebs, I seem to run into the refrain of Google traffic being the be...
