How do I know my author score?

Is my author score the average score of all my hubs? I see that number on my stats page at the bottom of the column that has all my scores for each hub. I don't see anything that specifically says "author score", though, so is the this score?

Also, I'm wondering how you know the score of someone else's hub. I don't see that number anywhere either.

Author score - hubber score - it's the number on your avatar picture.  82 at the moment.

When you go to your feed page, on the right hand side is your profile picture along with a link to your unmanaged comments, hub stats, and profile. On your profile picture is a number. That number is your author score. You see it every your profile picture appears. You can also see it on your profile too. Currently yours is 82.
You see the score of other peoples hubs on your feed and in the hubbers activity log.
      I hope this helps.

You can find the author score on your main profile page, next to your avatar. Same result when you navigate to someone else's profile.

It's kind of annoying that your profile's Hubscore doesn't appear on your account page. If you hoover your curser over your Hubpages user name, three options appear....My Account, My Earnings, and My Profile. Clicking on My Profile will show your hubs and your picture with your profile Hubscore. The My Account option will let you see all of your hubs at the bottom of the screen and their current scores (which frequently change). Don't forget that on the My Account page, you can click "edit my profile." The main thing you should keep up with is your top 6 Hubs. Put them as the ones on the carosel, so that readers will enjoy your best work. Hope that helped a bit. Michele
