I was advised by a friend to submit by blog to Alltop. I did submit the blog about two months ago and only received an email today saying that my blog has been added to their directories of top blogs in my niche.
Now, my question is, will this addition of my blog to this directory negatively affect my ranking and traffic?
Thanks for your answer.
No one seem to have been listed on alltop, am I making a mistake? I need your opinion please. Thanks
Alltop is a Guy Kawasaki site, but it seems that not everybody loves it:

This is the first I'm hearing of this site. I'm sort of curious myself as to what it's all about.
I too added my blog there when i have just started so perhaps that's why it was not accepted there, but i think it is a nice site.
Younghopes, when was it that you submitted your blog? And how did you hear about the site? Was it the beautycareforwomen blog you submitted?
Sorry about the numerous question
I dont exactly remember when i submitted my blog there, i read somewhere about it, and yes it was beautycareforwomenblog only, but plzzzz just one question of mine- how did you know about the blog?

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.

As per the advice of many Hubbers I’ve tried to sign up on Shetoldme, but can’t seem to find their sign up button / page anywhere. A while ago I saw another Hubber comment on experiencing the same problem. Does anyone know what’s going on there? Thanks to all.

I came across this site http://adyesha.com. I found it as a pure blogging site with ad-space sharing option for its authors/bloggers. Anyone got any blog/article/page on it?
