Conversation. If this critter does not rack up 100 posts, I give up. Are the days of yesteryear gone? I'll be back at 101 or whatever.
First of 100
Yes, the days of yesteryear are gone - standard teaching in Time(101)
No idea about the 101, but I'm all for conversation. I'm 99!
Speaking of which, can we converse about anything here. Absolutely anything?
97
Sure. Wanna talk about the beauty of a dolphin jumping next to your surfboard? Or would this be better?
Very few dolphins and opportunities to surf in the North of England, but I quite like the little chappy in the polka dot swimsuit.
Whiskers! Yep, I have gone whiskers. Shaved the throat, kept the rest.
You are as much a mess as I am. A good thing.
93
Hey, so does this guy, and he's cute, just beating away at that clam on his belly, whiskers a-twitching!
So is that what the other thread was about? Just conversation? I wasn't sure how to respond.
edit: sorry, 92
91
Not really, I think. PDS just got bored and wanted someone to insult. Telling me I'm like him fer gossakes!
Just don't go neckbeard and fedora.
Too NEET to be cool.
I have indeed decided I am a cool dude.
97, 95, 93, 92, 91. What in the hell are you talking about? This keeps up, I'm going starting blathering about B.
87
No, it's 87 by now. Just trying to help out...
I'd start a sign-off thread, but this will do.
A last play time.
And just gave you a slamming "Hello, kindred spirit."
Hey paradimsearch what does your hub score actually do for you? As far as I can tell it's just a number. I got a 90 (seems a little high to me). But, seriously, is there a point to it? I see a bunch of ppl getting mad about it dropping. Seriously, who freagin' cares if your score drops as long as you get mad views? I'm confused on what the score actually does for you.
I'm wondering how a battle between the octopus, the otter and the dolphin would pan out? Would it be more like rock, paper scissors? I suppose the odds are 101 to 1 that the rock would be the otter (which is how they break clams), the scissors would be the octopus (because of its beak), but the dolphin would be paper. Hmm, not really sure what a dolphin would do with paper, but I'd bet the odds are 84 to 1 that he wouldn't be writing a letter to the president about big brother invading our privacy. In contrast, maybe the dolphin would write an 83 page essay about it. So, does this mean 82 more posts?

When you are communicating with others, how much is it going to matter how "smart" they are? assuming, of course, that you are all discussing a topic that interests you!

While I'm being a policeman, I can't help noticing that there's a lot of self-promotion that goes on in the forums. Especially the "other topics" forums, where quite often you'll find posts with not much more than the link to the person's Hub.Surely the forums are places to discuss...

This thought may not be enough to sustain a long-term discussion of any real merit. However this thought was too involved to pose as a question in the Q & A forum, and we might get something out of it yet. Who knows? Our subject is the expression "one-hit wonders." We usually use this...
