It was early, and I thought maybe I was still dreaming...when I tried to read a Hub, this Ad came rolling across the screen and covered my entire view! It finally stopped going past my view after a couple of minutes, but it was very distracting!!! Course it keeps the reader on the page longer waiting for the Ad to stop.
Yikes, rolling ads are actually against our advertising policy. If you see it happen again, please send a screenshot to the HP Team and we'll ask that advertiser to turn them off. Sorry about that!
How do you take a screen shot? After it rolls in, it sits on the side on your pic. long enough that you could probably do that. Ive seen it at least twice.
If you're on a Mac computer, press these keys at the same time: ctrl shift 3
If you're on a PC computer, you can press the Print Screen key, which will copy an image of your screen to your clipboard. You will still have to paste it into Paint or other image software and save it.
Ok, thanks. Ive done it before, but I couldn't remember. Just have to find Paint again. lol
Thanks for reply. I will take a screen shot if I see the ad again. Glad it is not HP's policy.

I just switched to HP from adsense and have noticed that there are some ads that I find offensive (for women in Russia for example). I find it interesting that HP will ding me if I put something off-color on my hubs but this is allowed. How do I get these kinds of ads off my hubs?

I hate this! I finish writing a comment, and this loud voice comes out of the speakers asking me to try Dial Soap! I jump out of my chair! When I move the mouse, I accidentally rolled over this video for Dial. Hope I don't get in trouble for "clicking my own ad"!!

I went to approve a comment on a hub and got hit with an auto play ad. Screen shot is included. The hub the ad ran on is: http://dalehyde.hubpages.com/hub/Google … -Windows-7The ad was refreshing with the screen shot on the bottom left.

I am having all sorts of ads popping up only when I am in the HP window. Not sure if it's because of something on my end or HP's.
