The site is hard to get around with gigantic text for navigation and no chance of re-sizing. The photos are fuzzy (except in the slideshow).

Basically, I reckon you have optimized for a smallish smartphone and the tablet experience is not great.

Sorry to be so critical but that is just the way it is.

Yeah.  Toward the bottom of the menu, hit Desktop Site.  Seems like this mobile site format isn't very popular.

Will, we did have an issue where tablets were being served the mobile site and have since addressed the issue.
Tablets (Android and iPads) should be served the same version as desktop browsers again.

Look for the link to get you back to the desktop version.  The mobile view sucks on iPads too, which is why I stick with the desktop.

Thx. I found the desktop link and it does look better, on the whole.

The one problem is fairly major, though. In Chrome at least, the slideshow is wildly unstable and most users will probably exit as fast as they can.

I fled by switching off the browser, since it was the quickest way out.

        Try a different browser.

          lol.

The important issue is visitor experience (and making money).

    Thx, Mathew.

I would still have a look at the slideshow in the desktop version, though. 'Wildly unstable' is probably an exaggeration but if you re-size in order to see the pics better, the slideshow starts jumping around the screen when you use the forward or back buttons (if you are able to find them).

That is screwy enough to persuade visitors to leave. We don't want visitors to leave! Not without spending some money anyway.

I thought these things made themselves. Like the house cleans itself. And beer leaps into a glass as soon as it is empty.

This is a serious thread, Beth. Herein, people with beards talk about weighty matters in a solemn tones.

Flibbertigibbets of the beardless kind are simply not allowed.

Well, I can't think of any more groups to upset right now so I will call it a day, lol.

I would point out that Mathew will be very annoyed that you ruined his thread.
