I just joined this website today. My question is regarding the quality of the things I have posted, seeing as one thing I wrote seems to have been taken away... I am open to suggestions so I can get better at what I do, especially seeing as writing is something I would like to someday do full time.

I want to know in regards to getting search results as well. Are my titles and leads good enough?

It looks like you have already posted the "Love Languages" hub on your blog. HubPages wants unique and original articles. If you have already published it elsewhere online, it is not HubPages material.
Read the FAQ's and learning center entries and you will discover the ins and outs of HubPages.

When you go into edit a hub, you will usually find suggestions for improvement, as well.
Welcome and good luck with your writing. I'm sure you have lots of good ideas.

Hello Keshia and welcome to HubPages! You will get the hang of things as you learn. Go to your account and edit your Hub which was recalled. look at the top right corner when it comes up and you should see where it says why it was recalled. If it does not explain it then you should email the staff.
By the way, did you include photos, etc.?

Hi Keshia welcome to hubpages! Don't worry, its a matter of trial and error. Just took a look at your two articles, seems fine to me. Hubpages do like you to write about 1,000 words, but yours is not too short so its fine. Its just a case of learning as you go. Just comment and read other peoples hubs, and you will soon get the idea. Give it a couple of weeks and you will be writing easily don't worry. Good luck!

Now they took ALL of my hubs down... yes they were duplicates but I own the right to it not the other website they were published on hmm. It had 13 views and a comment. They also rated it and gave it a good rating. I wonder if I add to it can I republish, or can not any part of it be from another site?

Oh well, i just wanted to see how this works. Now to think about what I really want to write about and try again.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Hubs must be unique on the web, not posted anywhere else.

do they all need to be informative or how to or can it be editorial? Such as 'these are my thoughts on this subject.'  will no one read those?

If you can get it past the quality assessment, it can be about pretty much anything that isn't illegal or completely pointless.

If you take any of their words you need their permission and those words need to be in "quote marks". All other words need to be your own. Nothing can be simply copied (or taken) without permission and it must be noted on the Hub that you were given the permission - for words, photos, etc.
By the way, welcome to HubPages!

Duplication of content is THE big no-no on this site, so even if it's your own material, it can't be published elsewhere on the web and then a copy posted here.

As Relache and psycheskinner both stated, posting content on HubPages that is published online elsewhere is not permitted.
You can find more details here.

If you are writing a hub, you should concentrate on several things. It should be in English. If you want it to get a ranking you should include as much content as possible (min 700 words). Add a couple of pictures and videos. Make sure your content is unique, high quality and correct!

    Hope this helped!

First of all Welcome to Hub pages!

    Now to the rest,
While yea, you may think that you own the writing on your other blogs. Hub pages want original content. Not something that can be found elsewhere. It is actually a common misconception that many other bloggers get.

    All ordinal content
