I was so happy to check my traffic this morning, and noticed that I had earned over $1 for the first time. I felt like it was coming since I have earned .97 cents last week. I've never been this excited about earning a buck in my life lol.
Congratulations! I know how you feel because I just saw that yesterday was my first $2 day!
That's awesome, dude! Hopefully I can throw enough effort out there I can see the ole buck-a-day, too! I liked your Mortal Kombat article. Well, more blown away than anything!
That's great, congrats! A week ago was my first "over $1" and it was almost $2, so I was thrilled. LOL
A couple days ago I made over $1 in a day again. So I'm happy.
More than nine "over-$1-a-day" this month. I'm happy views are going up.
Well done! Your first dollar is a big milestone on HubPages, and you should be very proud.
Thank you! It's happening more frequently now
How do you actually do this? It would be greatly appreciated if you could probably give some insights so that other Hubbers can experience this, too. I, for one, have not been able to reach a single buck even after 5 years here on Hubpages. Any tips, guys?
Thank you LindaSmith1. Just keep working at it, and your earnings will definitely rise. I don't consider myself a talented writer, so if I can earn a buck in a single day, anyone can do it
Congrats, prospectboy, good job! I felt the same two weeks ago when I hit my first dollar for a day's work. It is exciting and it will keep happening again from now on. I guess we've crossed over the first earning hump here at HP.
Thank you so much Ms. Janis! I had grown accustomed to the usual .50 cents to .70 cents daily, so it was pleasant surprise when I started nearing the dollar mark. Congrats to you on reaching it as well. It's very exciting indeed, and helps to keep me motivated. We're definitely crossed that first hump lol.
Well done - your earnings are now on a par with trash heap scavengers in India! Next target - earn as much as a crippled beggar in war-ravaged Somalia.
PS Please forgive me horrible sarcasm, I can't help myself sometimes - its an important milestone and a great affirmation that people appreciate your writing- and its probably 5 times more than I am making from Hubpages.
LOL we should set up a full ranking system of earnings!
Not a bad idea for a ranking system in forums! You made me laugh!!!
Congratulations. I couldn't think of a more deserving human being, Bradrick. Blessings and aloha for continued success!
~Joe
Thank you so much Mr. Joe! Your words are really humbling sir. Thank you and continued success to you as well
Assuming he fiddled around on his HP account enough to stay relevant with Google, he could never write another hub and over five years he'd earn $1825. That puts the value of each of his hubs well over $100 for a five-year span. That's a better way of looking at it
I like that way of looking at it lol. Besides, it's not all about money for me on here. I'd say that at least 80 of the hubs I've written are outdated, and I haven't changed or updated them, mainly because I have a lot going on outside of Hubpages. The site is primarily a hobby for me. I enjoy the people and community more than anything.
How much is a person with 135 hubs supposed to be earning?
Woah that's a lot of hubs to be making just that much. Probably you could optimize your current hubs a bit before writing more?
There is no better feeling than earning money on the Internet in this way. Pick another milestone, not just in terms of a financial-goal but also how many hubs you want to write in the next few weeks. And keep at it.
Thanks! That reply was to the person who seemed to downplay my earnings based on the number of hubs I've written. Earnings are the least of my worries on here. The experience I've gained and the connections I have made on here have been invaluable.
I was not trying to downplay your earnings but the fact is you have a lot of hubs and its hard to imagine you've only made 1 $ but since money is not your objective then it's okay .
I gotcha. I'm okay with my standing on here. I've received multiple payouts, and I'm receiving the largest one I've ever made on here at the end of this month.
Excellent. Good to hear that. I got my first payout just last month. Now I have become a very active writer in hubpage I would say.
You are simply inspiring me to move forward with my recipes.
When you find time, please pitch into my hubpage as well to see my recipes that I have posted (if you are interested) !
am confused you say you made your first dollar and then you say you have received multiple payouts ???
I said I made over my first dollar in a single day, not my first dollar earned ever. Yes, I've received multiple payouts as well.
Was your earnings from your ad or from your immediate hubs? Thanks
Congs. $1 is not that much, but never the less, it is a good beginning which should make a good ending
Congratulations about your first dollar. I am still waiting for mine. But I'm only a few cents away!

I want to thank Hubpages for allowing me to publish here. You were my first love for publishing online. I still haven't found another lover like you and can't seem to let you go. With all the arguments and disagreements I am still here. Hopefully, I'll fall in love with you like before.I have been...

I have just received my first HP payout on PayPal late last month (USD$60-something)! It was a long journey since I was not very active and I wrote on and off (I only have 31/32 hubs at the moment). To all the hubbers who are wondering what I am earning monthly now, I average around USD20/mo, which...

Just wanted to give all you new hubers a boost and tell you that my work is paying off really well. I have written 21 hubs to date my last one being this morning and just checked my google adsense earnings for yesterday. I earned $6 yesterday alone which brings me to $40 total earnings. It shows...

Just want to share my happiness when I received today my first payout in the HP ad program. My Google Adsense earnings lag way far behind HP ad program. I don't expect to get my earnings in adsense at all. I'm motivated to write more hubs if only I have more time to do so. Thanks Hubpages.
