I have acquired my google tracking code. Where exactly in my page do I paste it? What are the benefits of using a google tracking code?

When you say "google tracking code" are you perhaps referring to either the Google AdSense code for an account or to Google Analytics (views)?
Google Analytics. Isnt that to be placed on your website? I tried placing the code using the code capsule but was restricted because only computer program related codes are allowed. I hope I clarified enough for you to help.
