Has anyone else had problems with the share button? I tried sharing a hub and I don't think it was working.

I can do some further testing if you are still having problems sharing your Hub.
What is there specific Hub (URL and/or title) and social media network on which you are trying to share?

        I tested it on http://mizbejabbers.hubpages.com/hub/Ar … ricks-No-1
"Arkansaw Limericks No. 1" by MizBejabbers just to try it after I read this. I doubt if he (Blackberry) was using the same Hub.

@The Examiner-1 Just to clarify, are you stating that you did have trouble sharing this specific Hub via the newly changed social media buttons?

I did test shares using Firefox and Chrome in Windows 7 and they both work for Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest.

It does look like the button to share with your HubPages followers may have an issue, so I have forwarded that information to our engineering team for further investigation.

I am stating that when I used it there was no verification that it was shared as the previous button used to show us. I tried the Pinterest and it worked but I am not a member of FB or Twitter.

              Thanks for the clarification!

The current state of the buttons if that they will not reflect the share count.
There may be some changes reflected after further testing, but the count was removed to improve page load times.

Okay, thanks. I was unaware of that. As I am sure that others are. The share button was the only one which we could not double check after use and we were unsure. Thank you again very much for your time too explain this.
                Have a nice day.

      Blackberry,
I have just received verification from Matthew Meyers that the share button is okay. It will simply not show verification.

We have just deployed a fix for the intermittent connectivity issues affecting the site. You may need to clear your browser cache for the issue to fully resolve.  Thanks for your patience.

We are still experiencing periodic delays in the responsiveness of the share button for followers on HubPages.
We are currently working to resolve the issue.

I had not used one until I saw this but I tried one and realized that they changed all of them. I did not know that. Perhaps it does not work because it is still new. I tested Pinterest and it worked.

I have had problems with the share button, too. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Most recently, I tried to share davenmidtown's "The Drought, Politics, and Ecology." The button seemed non-responsive, and when I looked on my feed, it had not been shared.  I read your note, Matthew, that the verification of a share has been removed. Hmm. I liked having that.

I just tested it on two Hubs. Click on it and count to 10. It worked fine for me.

I'll give it a try the next time I want to share a hub. Thanks!
