Trying to setup my first video in Camtasia. There are multiple canvas sizes for video, so wondering what size is the most optimal for HP video?

    Thanks
    Jacob

If you're going to get into videos, make them for Youtube first, then embed them in a normal Hub.  That way you get double exposure.

We've had a few video gurus here who have tried creating video Hubs and eventually recommended going the Youtube/Hub combo as a much better generator of traffic.

      Hi Jacob,

I'm actually not sure of the maximum on-screen displayed size for videos, so I forwarded your question to our engineering team and will let you know what I determine.

Beyond that the limits are file size, format, duration, codec, etc.
This info is in the FAQ.
I will add the dimension info there as well when I have it verified.

      Jacob,
While the max displayed (not in full screen format) is 640 pixels wide, we do support higher resolutions (above 1080p) when they are played full screen.
So in general, unless you are running into the file size limitation, the higher the better!

    That's what I keep hearing--I suppose I should.
