I was not active on hubpages for two years, I checked my hub traffic sources, none came from big Google. Formerly I was getting good traffic to my hubs from Google. What can be done to get back traffic from the big G.
That would tend to substantiate the belief that Google is big on fresh content.
Sounds like hub update time to me.
Have you checked if your hubs are featured? In the last column on your accounts page, there will be a white H in a black circle if the hub is featured, which means it's shown in search engine queries. If not, the hub will need some editing to become featured again. I suspect this element of HP came in while you were absent.

If a hub is not featured does that mean that it doesn't get any search engine traffic from Google or other search engines?

I been on a couple of days and pretty much all my traffic is from hubpages. I get a couple from digg but that is about it. How are people getting their traffic from google and other search engine?

This might be a complete co-incidence, but I switched to the new profile a couple of days ago, and today Google is pretending it doesn't know me. Hubs that ranked on the first page for main keyword are not found...
