Hi. I am very new here and a bit overwhelmed. Regarding comments left on my hub pages, under Global Comment Capsule Settings", I have clicked "No" to "settings Comments must be approved before they appear". I noticed I must approve comments to my hub anyway. How do I fix this?
To better protect the quality and content of your Hubs, it's better practices to manually approve comments.
But otherwise that sounds like a bug that should be reported to admin. They're gonna be backed up after the holiday weekend, so it might take a bit for them to get back to you.
It is best to approve comments before they are posted to your hubs because this way you avoid spammy or generic comments.that add no value to your hubs. If you opted for the comments to appear without you needing to approve and you are still asked to approve them then it is definitely a technical glitch. I'd wait a few days and see if the issues still remains and if it does then contact admin.
It is in your best interest to control them... trust me
