So, I'm thinking of crafting another hub (oops almost wrote lens) from the ground up. It's gonna be inspirational/self help. When checking the topics, I can't seem to find the perfect place to stick it. Any suggestions? Hmmm. I also wanted to post my first forum thread also. The two birds w/one stone thing does work.
Thank you. I hadn't seen that. That will work in lieu of inspirational. Much appreciated.
Now that your question has been answered: you win for best forum post title of the day. I think I just spewed a little tea at my monitor.
I don't have an answer (looks like relache took care of you) but had to comment. I actually typed "lens" into a hub I was writing earlier today ("This lens offers...") Whoops! Thankfully I caught it Hoping to publish that one tomorrow! I am finding a new excitement here if nothing else. Best of luck to you with your new hubs!
Relache is always there to help. No wonder i didn't need to think twice before voting for her on the Hubpages voting form
There's been such a wonderful outpouring of help and assistance from the existing HP community. I look forward to making contact with more of my HP neighbors.
I was worried when I first signed in to HubPages, because the first threads I encountered were not kind to Squidoo refugees. I have to say that I have received spectacularly efficient, speedy help here. All my questions have been answered within the hour, by people who know what they're talking about.
Yup. Relache was there quickly with the answer. Still wish inspirational as a topic was on the list, but who knows? Maybe they'll add it at some point. I'm trying to excise from my vocabulary, to some degree, the words lens, lensmaster, squid etc.
I prefer to use the word "article" because my readers who come from the search engines may not know what a hub is.
anyone know of a way to search all our hubs for common text? a global find and replace feature would be good but i have not found how to do that...
The entire list of topics is listed on this page.

Thanks, MT. I've added the url to the list of helpful links on my profile page. I used to use article and lens interchangeably within the same Squidoo article so that readers would become familiar with the term and know what was going on in other lenses where lens may have been used exclusively. I'll probably adopt the same practice here.
Thank you. I'll probably find my way over there at some point, Susana S.
I had been thinking of that, MD and was gonna try coping a random sample of text and plugging it into a search enjgine.
***Hands LisaVollrath a crinkled hanky*** Sorry, it's a little soggy but it'll still work.
I like that many hubbers were straight forward with their concerns so that they could be resolved and not create a lingering miasma.

Well, when you are suffering from depression and you opened your hubpages stats then you notice that 9 of your supposed to be featured hubs got unfeatured due to lack of traffic.. Very disappointing indeed but, can you guys here suggest some tips in improving hits? I don't want to spam my facebook...

I'm speaking mainly on your HubPages account, but also any side (or main) blogs. Do you think it hurts or helps your Hubs to have a diverse group of articles or is it better if it's all about one thing?

Hi everyone, I'm glad to say one of my articles has been published and featured. After two failed attempts on different topics, I started fresh and familiarised myself with the hubpages site, spent a few hours reading the forum questions and answers here which I found most useful when it came to...

17 Hubs published and I get about one view per day between all of them? I realize it takes a while to establish yourself but is that normal? Does it pick up over time? All my articles are well over length and get maximum hubber checkmarks? Now, granted, I don't...

Hello authors! A few months ago, we announced the launch of our new network site The CrimeWire. Since then, we've seen tremendous growth and reader engagement, which we attribute to the quality of articles we're receiving, staff outreach and support, and the popularity of the true crime genre....
