Is there a way for readers of our hubs to send us an email? Squidoo had a contact form readers could use if they wanted to ask us a question or contact us for any other reason, without posting their questions/comments in the comments capsule. Is there a feature of this nature on Hubpages?
Click 'Fan Mail' on your profile. In the top right hand corner you'll see the link 'Send JanieceTobey an email'.
I was unaware of this - just learned something new! Thanks!
Turn on the ability to be emailed by people in your profile. However, note that many people here have this function disabled as they found other site users have a tendency to spam.
Fan Mail is only available to site members.
I receive emails every week from visitors to my Hubs asking permission to use images, wanting me to write articles for their websites, etc. Preventing people from contacting you prevents these requests. Spam is easily deleted and I actually have never received any from HubPages emails.
I just checked and I do have it turned on. But where would readers go (on the site) to email me? Are you saying there is a separate place, other than Fan Mail, where readers can email us?
If I wanted to email to you: Click on your profile image that takes me to profile page. On right: My content box with a list including Fan Mail, Click on fan mail. A box with profile quip comes up. In the right upper had corner: Send Janiece Tobey an email which is clicked on an box to send email comes up.

I think being able to send private messages to other users would be a great feature. I have followers who joined HubPages just to follow my content, and I would like to be able to contact them directly, but since they don't have hubs posted this is difficult.

Dear Hubbers. I've recently noticed so many changes on Hubpages. I had no internet for a week and upon my return things look so different. I like the cleaner white pages with the underline beneath the titles. The column width seems narrower, while now advertisements show up on both left and right...

It would be delightful if there was an easier way to contact some of the Hubbers. I have not done that often, since transferring from Squidoo, however - each time I wished to, I had to remember how to do it. When I am on my profile page, and someone shows up who I am following, the message in blue...

Where is the "contact this hubber" on the new profile page? Is there one now? When you want to contact another hubber via personal email, where is that located now on the new profile?

For several months now (almost since I joined hubpages) I have been getting harassing, threatening and ridiculous comments from the same person. I originally encountered her in a forum, and she has not left me alone since. She repeatedly leaves me harassing fan mail, none of which has...

When I get a notification that someone has posted new fan mail and I click on the link it goes to a list of my fan mail which appears to be in reverse chronological order. The new fan mail isn't even there! I have tried looking on every page of my fan mail. The new fan mail isn't on the first page...
