I've got duel modules on a few of my old lenses that I haven't fixed yet and I'm wondering what to do about them.
For anyone who hasn't seen this yet, they're showing up as two comments modules alongside each other.
Right now they don't have a lot of comments in them (I was pretty new on Squidoo and didn't have a lot of traffic yet) but if I leave them there, eventually they might stretch waaaay down the page.
At the same time I felt they offered valuable content and a reason for viewers to come back.
What's your take?
I'd like to know the answer to this, too, because I have duels with dozens of comments and I don't know how to make them look good.
I put my duel at the end of the hub, and added more info to the beginning with a text capsule. It was not making sense with what was transferred.
Deleted some comments to make it not so long.
"How to deal with former Duel modules?"
I think most men would buy two bouquets, a bottle of wine and hope at least one of them was interested.
Sorry, I must be dim - not sure what you're suggesting?
My duel modules on hubs that were imported from Squidoo are very badly messed up and I, too, would like to know how to go about making them look reasonable (or at least coherent) to page visitors. Is there a recommended alternative to replacing former Duel modules with a Poll capsule and/or deleting all the comments that otherwise extend half-a-mile down the page?

I am a fan of both HP and Squidoo and there are two things where Squidoo score over HP big time.Comments: Leave a comment is so yesterday. Squidoo comment module can be used in a variety of ways. I would love to see a comment module that doesn't look like one. In fact it should be such that it...

The nice thing about the new Amazon capsule is that it displays the description text in the same size as the rest of the hub. This can be beneficial and may turn into better sales. So I reorganized one of my hubs, moving much of my text from text capsules into the Amazon description fields. This...

I don't suppose I'm the only person wondering what happens if the machinations - automated or otherwise - lead to HubPages having a much REDUCED income stream from Amazon.Make no mistake - as Google Adsense income dives (which it has been doing consistently for months) - income from Amazon modules...

Recently Paul Edmondson made a statement about ads which has caused some confusion. He has suggested that if you are using Amazon ads on a Hub, you should turn off other advertising. I can understand his reasoning, BUT it will backfire badly if you don't do it right. The theory is that...

Wow, what a mess this transition is! My pages look terrible! Back on Squidoo, my pages were all 100%. Here, the highest is ranked 52. OUCH!So back on Squidoo, we were encouraged to write product pages. Here they don't seem to like that. Now I'm trying to fix some of my pages - on Squidoo these were...
