What could be wrong?
According to what Google says right there in the message you copied, "The tracking code used by your site is not associated with your Analytics account."
Did you check to make sure you typed everything correctly?
I have a tracking code from analytics: UA-54906218-1 for http://inventiveone.hubpages.com/
The page itself uses UA-286186-1
How can get these to match up?
Try these to make sure your settings on this end are correct.

@relache, got it.
I had tl;dr the rather long hubpages instructions and missed a step.
Which step did you miss? How did you fix it?
The instructions are broken up onto multiple pages.
I started at: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/How- … ster-Tools
I missed Step 3 at http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/sett … -analytics

I have followed instructions on both HP and GA itself but when I get to the place where the upgrade should be, it's not there.I see what it is supposed to look like. Just can't figure out why my option to upgrade isn't there. Anyone that has insight is welcome to give me some pointers.
