Since I upgraded to IOS 8, the Hubpages app keeps crashing with javascript error. Just wondering if it is my iPhone playing tricks on me or the app is yet to be optimized for IOS 8. The current app dates as far back as 2012. Any ideas?
We have retired the HubPages iOS App.
There is a forum post here.

Thanks for posting. We are evaluating the future of the application and will post back this week.
Thanks for bringing the IOS 8 issue to our attention.
Thanks Paul for the info. Hope the evaluation means re-designing the app for the new iPhone screen sizes as well. The crashing app was actually desgned and optimized for 3.5' iPhone 4X screen and appeared rather dwarfed in the iPhone 5X 4' screen. Will keep my ears to the ground.
Yes have the same issue. Hope it can get resolved. Thanks for the update so far
Yep I get this message too. Please don't scrap the app, it's really useful!
What's your favorite part of the app?
I personally use it for quick checks of daily traffic, use it to view comments and every now and then check income.
I also use it for checking daily stats and for approving and replying to comments. I can't actually find a stat summary on the mobile version of HubPages right now just figures for each hub :-(
Darn, got so excited finding out that there was an IOS app since I didn't see one for Android. I guess I'll have to stay tuned until it's fixed for IOS 8.
I just upgraded to iPhone 6 and iOS 8 and miss the app. The activity indicator on comments and posts was most useful. I felt more engaged with more activity even if I wasn't actively at the site. I vote for the next iteration and hope it returns soon! Thanks.

When we first built the Iphone app, there wasn't a way to easily get photos from a phone to a Hub and that was a significant driver for building the app. IOS has come a long way and the major functionality that the app offered can now be done through the browser. Since IOS 8 was announced,...

Hi Hubbers,We've been engaging with some outside help on helping bring more traffic to HubPages. It's going to be an iterative process where we take recommendations, test them out on the site, and adjust. The first round of changes we have been working on is the topic hierarchy. ...

Are there plans for a mobile version of HP like Google has a mobile version of Blogger? Or has this already been discussed and I just missed it?
