Anyone know how to retrieve copy not transferred over from Squidoo lenses? Or, is it gone, entirely? Unfortunately, I didn't back it up. Went to the Help section, and not much help. Anyone? A former Squid?
Valerie's reply is exactly what I was going to say, and she is correct. I found articles that I thought had vanished, from a site that sold out to another. I stopped writing on it, when the new site owners demanded that we considered all of our content, THEIR content. Someone introduced me to the Wayback Machine via the link Valerie gave you, and I was able to get the articles intact. I just put each URL into the search box, waited a bit, and bingo! - there was the article I wanted.
It is a priceless free tool.
Don't know where response is you are referring to? Found it! Thank you.
Found Valeries's link response, wasn't showing when I first looked. Thank you. Nothing showing of past history for my blogs. Is there something else? Can't believe things just disappear.

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.

I finally made it over here. I have numerous hubs in violation as they were previously product lenses at Squidoo. How is everyone else handling it? Anyone know how many Amazon products we can have on a single Hub?

Now that the transfer is finished and the HP site has been evaluated by both the new Google Panda and Penguin algorithms, the effects of the transferred content to HP can be dissected.1. In the week before the August 15th announcement, HP had 335,638 featured Hubs averaging 4 unique views per...

This drop in traffic seems to have affected the majority of us who transitioned here from Squidoo. After we updated our articles are traffic virtually stopped dead. The question is why? Was our redirect from Squidoo killed with the update? What the heck happened? Please try to figure out why the...

There's been much mayhem occurring on Squidoo over the last few weeks, during the big shakeup they have endured with the decree to fix spammy, low quality lenses or see them deleted. I have noticed that the site has dropped from a position of 57 to 117 on Quantcast since three weeks ago. Most of the...
