I went into the HP app and got a red screen with a message "Application Error - Could not find the file app.js" and a Dismiss button after the message. I hit Dismiss and that brought up a black screen with HubPages written in white color. Nothing else loaded. Does the app no longer work or is there something wrong with my phone?

We did retire the iOS app, but we have recently worked on many mobile specific updates for the site.
You can access the site via a browser in iOS.
There are some features not supported in mobile that are in the desktop version and for those you can select to load the desktop version.
There is an option in the stacked button on mobile and in mobile browsers as well.

I often use my iPad for checking in on hubpages and other various networks that I belong to. However I have found that I am unable to work on my hubs with my iPad.
