I just noticed on my second site that something called Guardlink dot com has suddenly viewed my hubs over 30 times.  When I checked on this site, it was written in Russian, and when I translated it, it seemed to be a site that stores people's links.  I have no idea what this is, but it looks mighty fishy to me.  Will appreciate any info...since it is out of the US, filing a DMCA won't work, and I'm not even sure whether they copied anything.

Are you sure you mean .com and not .org?  The .com is offline.

When I asked about .com - .org came up instead. So I looked that up and it was in Russian but investigating it farther gave me more information about .com. Somehow they seem to be one and the same.

It is .org...sorry.  Can't seem to find anything about it anywhere, so thought some of you guru types would know.  I picked up 35 views on my second site from it, and each one has different letters and numbers following the guardling dot org site name.  I checked WMT and they don't seem to be linking to my site so far, but I find the whole thing very strange.

It seems that .com and .org are the same. Their clicking your articles may have caused problems. If you have Antivirus and/or Anti-malware then you should check for any problems.

You landed on a Russian site? Time for you to do CCleaner and a malware/virus check. neutral

I didn't "land" on a Russian site...they found my site and clicked on my articles there 35 times.

I meant when you went there to see what was going on. There are sites that multiple robo-visit your sites for the sole purpose of attracting your attention so you will in turn visit their site to see what is going on, at which point they instal malware on your computer. The websites that do this are usually Russian and Chinese.

I wonder if it's ghost referrer spam. Not that I know what that is, but I googled a link that was referral traffic to a hub and there were results about ghost referrer spam. The results were in another language and I couldn't read them.

Hey, thanks. I hadn't heard of a ghost referral before until I got these weird referrals on a Hub (on another account).
