I just registered for Google Adsense and I saw something about bank information. I then started researching it and discovered you used to be able to get paid in checks/cheques...then they made it so that you had to give them your bank information. Is it still this way, or can you receive checks again? Is there another option to get paid besides through the bank? I don't have an account and don't want to have to open one just for that. I'm in the U.S. if that helps. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you still have to have a bank account to get paid by Adsense.
Depending on your location, you may have no-electronic payment options, but if you think you are going to be able to get paid by Google without entering bank info, you are mistaken. That is part of how they uniquely identify each user, and part of why you must be an adult of legal-majority.
