It seems that every other hub on hub hopper is written by some religious devotee.
I don't mean just the ordinary stuff you would normally expect but I find some of the content to be pretty scary. People here at hubpages are some very 'interesting' people.
Maybe you should look at the subtitle before reading , because now every subject is its own category, you are in the religion area, like a News paper that is why.
HubPages has chosen a rather interesting position over the years, whereby they are trying to be all things to all users, and their position is to only ever police something caught in an automated filter or which is reported by users.
Given those conditions, extremism and hate of all flavors is incredibly prolific here, and you can easily find Hubs advocating any sort of discrimination or unqualified belief you might imagine.
You will notice a lot of hubs about Christian and Islamic stuff but don't get too involve
No, it's not. HubHopper doesn't allow you to select a category. It's random.
Well I notice if I want to read something I choose it , it is in red highlights at the top of the subject, you can go to other hubs if you prefer
I have. so since HP owns this sight they are allowing it maybe you can discuss your concerns with them .
I noticed that as soon as I got here. Perhaps people write it because they think it'll attract more views, and in some aspects it does.
It's why I write almost exclusively about heavy metal music and horror movies. I'm making sure that Satan's works get equal time around here...
(note to any and all religioso fundamentalist types who read the above... I keed, I keed.)

Since I felt limited in my expression, I asked HUBPAGES to create a new category: "NOT TO ANY RELIGION BOUND RELIGIOUS PERSONS". THIS IS A POSITIVE INITIATIVE; IT IS NOT "AGAINST" ANYTHING!I JUST DONT WANT MY HUBS AND COMMENTS TO BE CATEGORIZED IN A PLACE WHERE THEY DONT...

Under the stats tab, there is a little bit of info under the hubmetrics that includes "Earnings Potential." I can only assume that more dollar signs, the better. In fact, that's been my motto for some time. But I was wondering if someone could explain to me what exactly that...

Can you put all the religious, theology, atheist, etc.. stuff on a separate site, give it their own tab/page or something so the rest of us don't have to be hit in the face with it every time we come to hubpages.

What if we had tabs on our account. One tab for poetry, one tab for recipes, one for how-to etc.It would have this cleaner look, instead of such a miss-mash. Right now, ppl have to scroll down thru (sometimes) hundreds of hubs, having nothing to do with one another, other than they were published...

In the coming months, we will be adding categories to HubPages. In conjunction with the current tagging, this will make it easier to find related hubs. Before we launch this new feature, we wanted to get your feedback. Getting categories right is difficult and the best way to get there...
