I've just published a new hub, and I would like to change its publicly displayed thumbnail. How to get it done? Thanks.

The publicly displayed thumbnail is the first picture on your hub. So just change the first picture to whatever you want your thumbnail to be. Hope that helps!

There is a related FAQ here.
      http://hubpages.com/faq/#thumbnail

We suggest uploading an image at least 1000 pixels wide.

Hi, thank you for the information. I have checked out the two links that you have suggested. All the pictures of that hub (it's still undergoing QAP process) are high-quality, except the first one which I've used to stylize the hub.

I want the second image (from the top) of that hub to be applied as the thumbnail for that hub. Will this be fixed during the QAP process itself? Thank you.

I'm providing a screenshot of that 'pending' hub after this comment.

The first image that meet the requirements will be used.

There is no explicit way to select the thumbnail.
If there is no image that meets the requirement, then the Hub will be assigned another thumbnail.

I see. I got my answer. By the way, it's out of curiosity (if I may ask): is it checked by a software whether the hub-images meet the criteria for required resolution; or is that determined by human testers (MTurk)?

The resolution is determined by the system from the image.
              MTurk is not involved.

            Update:

I just checked my profile, and it seems that the issue has been fixed. I saw a preview of the hub and it had the right (2nd one from top) image as thumbnail. Thanks. :-)
