As a participating and signed-in Hubber, I would much prefer the default page to be "Feed" and not "Hubs". I always have to click Explore then click Feed to see what the Hubbers I'm following are up to-- not to mention the sad fact that I find the "popular" hubs shown on the Hubs page totally uninteresting and slow to change.
Can we at least set a preference?
I just saved my "feed' page on my bookmarks menu bar and go into HubPages that way. I never have to even look at the "popular" or "newest" hubs.
I mostly access HP using my phone and had the same problem when they changed the layout.
But I later noticed that the blue Hubpages link at the bottom of the page takes you to feeds. Never tried that on my PC though.
I get an email every day that lists the latest hubs that my followers have posted that day. Don't remember how I set this up - it is probably somewhere in my settings for notifications.
These are all good points, but you don't get email notifications for all the posts in your Feed (thank god). And it's not that big a deal what the landing page is-- I would just prefer it not be the Popular Hubs page. Just sayin'.

Dear HubPages staff,Is there any way I can configure the default page that displays when I enter HubPages to see only hubs and not the crap questions or forum entries? I'll check out the questions/forums when I want to, but to see all the religious/political trollings posed as serious questions......

When using the new hopper we know not who we are assessing. I like that because it gives an objective read. There are times we read a hub and would like to make a few suggestions or we in return would love to receive suggestions from readers. HP knows exactly who hops and whose hubs are rated...

Note the top hub. How did it make it through QAP? If it hasn't made it through QAP, what is it doing being the first face of HubPages to people seeing the homepage for the first time?

The layout change removed the listing of top hubbers. I always enjoyed reading what the top hubbers published. Maybe a layout modification is in order. Top, hot, and latest hubs are still available.

Do you think forums should be OFF LIMITS to newly signed up people???The amount of spam coming into the forums by these people in the last week is amazing. Just now I got notifications of 32 forum posts by spammers who signed up less than 20 minutes ago and copy pasted the same spammy message...
