Display advertising spending is overtaking search ad spending.

      Display advertising is nothing whatsoever to do with HubPages

      Display advertising is advertising in banner images, or the large square images at the side as opposed to the Google ads two line adverts.

      The thing is a lot of websites and news sites (trad vehicles for advertising) now use lots more images than they used to. So if the advertisers don't follow then nobody is going to read their adverts.

          So show me in the report where it references sites like HubPages as opposed to all the conventional display advertising

          Or are you suggesting that HubPages is just one gigantic advertising site?

            HubPages makes its living by putting display ads on our hubs. You have been here 20 months, how on earth could you not know that !!! ??? !!!
