It could happen in the next 30 to 60 days. A new hub is helping to make it happen a little faster than expected, so the million view mark could happen in as little as 10 days, but only if the new hub maintains its present viewership which is not at all guaranteed.
It's taken seven years to approach the landmark, so does that mean it can be celebrated for an equal amount of time? ;-)
Congrats on your soon to be statistical conquest. But now you won't get another badge upgrade till you hit ten million views. Hey, we all need goals in life. So make the celebration intense but brief, then get back to work
I would say that is pretty amazing with only 16 hubs. Well done!
I'm slowly getting there, hoping a little faster now that I'm getting more views.
Cool Jean - has the move to the niche site improved traffic for you?
Yes, the move to the niche sites has improved my views quite a bit. I'm feeling optimistic. I write a lot
and have pieces that I was reluctant to put on HP, when the traffic was low. I'm considering adding them in now.
I did some new writing too. 2 went over to the niche pretty quickly. One malingers on HP. I will exercise patience while I work on another project.
Edit; Congrats on the views increase!!
How do you know if your hub has been moved to a niche site?
Interesting! My stat page shows 990,474. The visits have slowed down since yesterday, so it could take a month at least based on my numbers.
Where are you looking?
Wow. I love good news. Congrats to you on reaching this major milestone.
Awesome, congrats! I only recently surpassed 200,000 views. I'm accelerating the views with even more social media sharing (by far my #1 way of getting views). Keep it up!
Congrats to you and may you have the 10 million faster than you can bat an eyelash...

On Easter Sunday I finally hit the million views checkpoint. Took a long time to get there, but it was nice reading the email HP sends you on reaching this accolade. This is a good time to thank the staff at HP, no one ever says it enough - they are doing and have always been doing a great job here.

With the event of me approaching 1 million hub views in a few days or so, this gives me the chance to reflect back and see what I did to increase my traffic and revenues through Hubpages. What really started the ball rolling was the very first Hubchallenge back in May 2009 and I've since done 4 or 5...

I just realised I'm up to 3,095,000 views. I don't really look at the totals much. It seems like ages ago when I got my 1 million badge. Going at my current rate it'll take about another 11 years to hit the 10 million badge. Ugh!

Over the weekend I reached 2.5 million views, which is 1/4 of the way to the next accolade. It took 3 years to get to the 1 million accolade, and one year, thanks to the niche sites, to add another 1.5 million. I think 5 million views should be the next accolade. Any chances of giving us a closer...

I finally hit 250,000 views today. It took a long time coming but here is to the next 250,000.
