One of my hubs has just achieved 50,000 views. I could not resist sharing!
Well done Sally! Is that the first? Which one?
Lots of good news coming out from various veteran writers over the past few days, weeks, months, which bodes well for this site and hopefully will encourage and inspire others to raise the bar and get cracking with more good quality hubs!
Well done you. Mini celebrations, minor milestones and tiny successes all add spice to the pot.
That's great congrats. I'm always afraid to share milestones because I never want to come off as vain or conceited particularly to new writers. It can go either way; they may feel inspired or defeated. I love reading about success stories personally because it pushed me to try harder.
Thanks again for sharing and good luck to you.
Thanks, Chris, I know how you feel. I hope I won't be seen to be conceited. That is not something I recognise in myself. I just want others to know what is achievable. I do know though how much time and effort it takes:)
Congratulations! Good news is always good for inspiration.
Congratulations Sally! That's quite an achievement. ☺
Congratulations Sally. That's quite an achievement. Interestingly, while I usually focus on daily and weekly views to see what is currently trending, your comment inspired me to take a quick look at my total views by doing a sort on total views. I was surprised to find a few with the highest total views, which I personally do not consider my best Hubs, were still generating two or three daily and weekly views. While I have periodically updated them two were first ten years ago and a couple of others between three and five years ago. Congrats again and keep up the good work!
Well done. It's horrible when you've put 3-4 hours + stats checking and promotion time into a hub over months/years and still it's not got to 10,000 ... which is most of them.
I had one that got up to 50,000 quite quickly, then completely died. It was a spur of the moment item that happened to hit a trend of the day - a very short-lived event. It's had 1 hit this month
My worst one, published over a year ago, has a total of 32 views

I took 3 years and 4 months--my first hub was published on 6/17/14-- but I passed 500,000 views this morning. (As of the last update 500,064) views. I was hoping to hit 500 followers for a double whammy, but I am still 6 short. At my current rate of views, I think I will hit one million in 1 to 1...

Hey Hubbers,This is so cool. I am about 8 views away from breaking 300,000 views.Sorry, to interrupt your daily rants, forum play and other things, but I am enjoying HubPages so much, I wanted to share. Thank you to everyone on HubPages and HubPages Staff for giving me the opportunity....

Reaching a million views on HubPages has taken me a very long time. It hasn't been as easy as reaching such a milestone on an article in an online magazine or on a niche or business website, so that should really make it feel like much more of an accomplishment. It doesn't, though. Really, nothing...
