I was doing fine with pinning my Year of the Rooster crafts (they have all been moved to the Holidappy niche site) to Pinterest, but the last couple of days Pinterest has blocked them from being pinned, saying they "may be spam." I see that has happened in the past with niche sites. Can someone at holidappy talk to someone at Pinterest and get this straightened out? Our traffic is going to tank without Pinterest.
That's true, but it's also a lesson to you not to overdo the pinning.
You have to remember that unlike your own site, there are lots of other Hubbers also pinning their work, so if you're pinning a lot of Hub images, so are they. Excessive pins from one site trigger the automatic Spam filter on Pinterest.
