When I create a post on Answers and get a notification, the notification link no longer goes to the comment and instead goes to the top of the Answer thread. Likewise, if I go to the commenter's profile and click on the comment in the activity list, the link also goes to the top of the Answer.
This is not a problem when the answer has four or five replies. It's a big problem when there are 40-50 replies. It becomes much more difficult to maintain an active thread. Can someone on staff please take a look?
Agreed. That problem began when they changed how the page looks with the new facade at the feed page and questions.

I would suggest dropping the “Threaded view” since it confuses people. I've noticed that those who use it tend to overlook important parts of a conversation in a thread. If only "Chronological View" were used, this would not only simplify things, but everyone involved would be in sync...
