Exactly about Answers. When I hit am email notification on an answer it does not go to the commment
I can no longer follow threads. Is it just me? Or does HP do it so we cannot reasonably follow comments and threads. I cannot comment anymore because I cannot find the new comment. Maybe they want to cut our comments on questions and answers.
I don't usually follow questions and forum threads, so did not know this. Sounds very annoying. I know at my daily feed with question comments and replies when clicked to see them it goes to the top of the question. Annoying because you can't follow replies to comments. You have to hunt for it.
I suggest posting this observance Eric at the Forums. There is a section for reporting bugs and such titled Technical Questions. I have had good luck using it in the past.

That is what I began to think when I first noticed that happening on some of your Questions, I wanted to suggest it on your other asking of this question since I follow some very closely. I finally gave up on even trying so maybe Hub Pages' editors will comment on this one.
This happens with Q&A. Not with other threads. I often have to locate the correct thread by scrolling down or up before answering.
In your email, are you clicking the first set of words or the second. I click the second set of the underlined comment text and it brings me right to the comment. And guess what? When I go to article email links it now takes me to the comment box to answer people's comments again . Yeah me. Have a good one Eric.
I like it but it ain't working. I simply cannot make it go to the comment I want to respond to.
Do you stay signed in or sign out every time. I have found it works better if I save my site and stay signed in.
Sometimes it can be HP, a more simple answer is that you need to sign in. Finally, you can find it by clicking on your name, Go into account then click comments. All comments relating to your Hub should show. Cheers.
But, my Bro, this thread is about comments on Questions asked. Not about comments on hubs. So, locating the thread you want to answer becomes very difficult here.

Well, it is working, but only for some hubs and not others. is there an individual setting somewhere I've missed?I'm getting notifications of 3 or 4 hub comments a day so thought all was well.Then I discover over 50 new comments on one hub over the last 7 days that I wasn't notified of.How many...

I've had two comments on two separate hubs today and the notification on neither one was emailed to me to let me know they were there.I just happened to see them in the numbered section in the top part of the screen where the word "notifications" is.Has something changed and we don't get...

If I post a comment on a hub and someone else posts a followup comment after me, does Hubpages send me an email notification? I do not seem to be getting such email notifications.

Help! Since I went offline last night (Mon.07/09/2012) prior to Midnight.....to the current time Tues, 07/10 4:30 p.m. EST......I have not received a single email notification from HP. I have however received other emails, so I don't believe this is an aol issue. ...

I appreciate receiving emails that someone has commented on my Hubs but it would be helpful if, when I receive the email, I could also see what the comment was, rather than having to log-in to HubPages to view the comment.

Do you think it is important to add follow-up comments when people answer your questions?When I answer a question or leave a comment on someone's hub, I appreciate some awknowledgement. I feel surprised (and a bit "cheated" when there is no response) Am I setting my expectations too...
