So I noticed that my hub score keeps changing almost every day and so does my hubber score. Are these two really important to maintain on HubPages? And are these two related in some way or the other?
I think it's fair to say that most of the successful Hubbers have high scores.
As Ronna has said, there are a number of factors that contribute to this, such as views etc. Nobody knows for sure the exact algorithm used by HP to calculate these scores, but to some extent, it is a measure of how well your hubs are doing.
Personally, I would not get too hung up on it. If you continue to write consistently, with high quality hubs, then your score should increase organically. This is what you should be focusing on.
Best of luck!
My understanding is that these scores reflect your views and activity. So, the more you ask/answer questions on the site, write new hubs, comment on hubs, etc. and the more people who see your hubs, your score will fluctuate.

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

I just happened to notice that somebody asked me a question about increasing their score weeks ago and I missed it - careless inattention as usual.I gave an honest answer - which is to say that I don't have a clue. My score goes up, my score goes down and I never know why. What I DID get...
