Why is my new hub scored so low? I started a new monicker to write on a very different subject, but my first hub is only rated a 74 and it's been up for 2 weeks. I'm used to 80s and 90s scores.

HubScore is a complex thing and it's not a measure of the quality of the Hub. It's a mixture of a number of things, including your personal Hubber Score - which, as a "new" Hubber, will be lower than your score on your established account.
Bear in mind that scores are meaningless, they are an internal thing within HubPages and have absolutely no bearing on traffic or income.
