One of my articles on a different account has lost a significant amount of traffic since the change to the comments capsule. It could be just coincidence, but I seem to remember something similar happening a while back when I messed with the comments settings on the same Hub.
The Hub has 300+ comments, so its possible showing only the latest 100 has hidden a lot of content that was formerly visible to search engines. Or, are all comments still visible to spiders, even though only the latest 100 are now shown to readers?
Just wondering if anyone else had a similar situation or if staff is keeping a lookout for such things.
We will be watching. For the most part traffic is strong right now. I think it would be a little quick, but it's possible. Feel free to email me the article.
