Could somebody help plse. I made two movies with windows movie maker. I added them to YouTube. However, I wanted to add the one to my hub 'The Benefits of Martial Arts For Children. The movie/video does not have a URL. How do I place it on my hub.
Did you fully upload the video, sometimes it takes a little while to complete. If you go to your account you should find it there with a URL.
Hi, I clicked on 'save to my computer.' Is that right. Thanks for answering.
Have you made the video on your own Computer, Phone or Tablet? If so you still have to upload the video to your account on YouTube. It will take a while to download. You will be able to watch it and see how long it takes to upload. Depending on the size this can sometimes take a while but you will be advised when it has completed the upload and given a URL for the video. Hope I am understanding you correctly.
Once saved to your computer you still have to upload the video to your YouTube account. You don't get a URL from a video still on your computer. If you have not done so you need to go through the process of opening an account on YouTube and then upload the video. Remember that your YouTube Videos can be monetized and those earnings will be added to your Adsense earnings.
Thank you sallybea, That is what I did, forgot to add it to YouTube. I have uploaded it and received my URL. I only have a few videos and they are mostly downloaded from pixabay for my articles or blogs. They are very short and not of interest to many people. The other videos are mostly taken years ago with my cellphone and not of good quality. Will monetize when I have taken good videos with a new camera.
You may be surprised of course! I uploaded some a few years ago. One has been seen 58 thousand times, I do prefer using my own videos rather than someone else's work if possible.
I'm guessing, but are you trying to add the videos from your computer direct to your Hub? You can't do that.
What you need to do is to use the Youtube version, just like you would share someone else's video from Youtube.
Did you complete the upload process? You usually get the url after processing is complete.
It will take a while to download. You will be able to watch it and see how long it takes to upload.

I am contemplating a video hub or two. I say 'contemplating,' because it all depends on whether I can successfully learn the proper formatting, and upload process. This digital editing is new to me, and I struggle with it. I have only the free version of Windows Movie Maker that...

Have you ever made a slide show video with Windows Movie Maker?I did this week, it was a lot of fun and the learning curve went fast. In a short day and a half I went from zero to publishing the video on YouTube. Cool!

In order to add your own video to a hub, do you have to join youtube first, upload your video, then put it in the hub capsule? I wish I could upload my videos like I upload my photos.

I've been wanting to make my own video and I just discovered that I have the software already on my computer to do this. I converted four short videos into one and added captions and credits. It really is fun. Have you tried this? Then I uploaded the video to YouTube and used it in a hub. The only...
