    soooo.....wanna shoot some video???

So I've been meaning to make some fun and (somewhat) informative videos for HubPages and have never really gotten around to it....until now. I'll be making some informative videos on how HubPages works and things like that, but I'll also be creating some more story-based or random videos that will be a little more on the 'just for fun' side.

Here's an example of one that I just made today that's more on the fun side: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy6PuiPFiqU

Well, I was wondering of any of you wonderful Hubbers would like to be included in any of these videos as I begin to create them. Basically what I would need you to do is shoot your own video and have the knowledge (I can also help) to send me the digital video files once you get them filmed. We could sen them over IM or some other method once you had something to send. The files could be pretty big, so we'll just have to figure it out.

If you have some experience with creating videos and wouldn't mind having some fun with me on a few projects, I would love for you to let me know so that we can figure out how to produce some sweet, video magic.

Off the top of my head, I would love to create some 'day in the life of a Hubber' videos so that the rest of our community and beyond can see how some of our successful Hubbers do what they do when they write on HubPages.

Anyways, if you would be interested let me know and we'll go from there -- thanks!

I would love to participate too!  Also, as a suggestion could we not just share the video clips with each other on youtube?  That way no one would have to send large files back and forth?

Well, that could be a potential option, but it would be better if we could us something like Windows Movie Maker to compress them down so that they're much smaller, but still decent quality.

Do any of you edit your videos with any type of software like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker?

Bringing this back up -- anyone else want to help put together some videos?

I'll be emailing each of you that have already said you'd like to help, so be ready for a creepy email from yours truly. OK, maybe not creepy, but I am going to be emailing you. smile

I'm about to take off for some travel.... to Costa Rica.  My digital camera does very short bits of video so I'll have to try and shoot some while I'm there.
