My name is Carly. I'm a 34 yo single mom of one 13 yo amazing daughter. I live by the motto, "Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe" as I like to be positive. I have a fascinating life story to tell b/c when shared, I notice that I end up opening other's eyes to a new way of looking at things, a new perspective, on their own life. I've been writing a book for years, but now I'm thinking instead of the book, I could just blog my story to the world. My blogs would be just my story broken up into daily blogs though, would that be eye-catching? Would people be interested in reading my story through a blog like that? Is Hub Pages the right outlet or format for me? I need some good tips please. Exactly how does Hub Pages work and does it reach out to the other social media channels too? Please let me know thanks!! -Carly
Can she write in the form of short stories? I have seen some short stories (interesting ones of course) getting picked up by the vertical site Letterpile. That way they get a niche site too.
However getting traffic from google can be an issue, but Letterpile and Hubpages have many readers. Also, they simply like and leave comments on the article.

(I don't know why you would write about that, but...

How well do poems and short stories do on HP?I noticed a while back somewhere that HP staff had mentioned that creative writing such as poems and short stories don't do as well as informational pieces. I'm curious to know about the earnings of some of the people who publish a lot of these. Do you...

When people call their Hub a "blog" do you comment on it?I see people writing about how they are starting a blog here on Hub Pages, and I am tempted to leave a comment that Hub Pages is not a place for blogs, or to send them an email that this is not for blogs, but Haven't. It...

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

For those who are no newbie to HUB Pages you probably share the same frustrations of working for hours on a hub only to be insulted with the friendly heads up message sending you back to a tutorial about writing rich content hubs. It's like were playing some type of hide and seek game to find...
