Do I create a new Hub for every article I write? or add to my first Hub?
You write a new hub...which is just another word for an article...
Refreshing existing hubs is a good habit to make, but adding new hubs is very important. I am not a fan of the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge as it is diluting many writers scores because much of our score is based on page views. Most people are so busy writing; that no one is reading. Which, to me is like spending all your time stocking shelves with product that no one is coming in the store to see much less purchase.
However, I realize that many people think the writing challenge is going to help them. I see that HUB is getting new content, yet no one is benefiting that much right now that I can tell, so, adding content for the sake of content is not necessarily good.
Think about what you want to write about, and what someone else would want to read, and write with that in mind, using keywords throughout your article.
I hope our readers return, and perhaps I am wrong about the hub challenge, but in my opinion, it's never a good idea to flood content on any site, but to add good content regularly.
Certainly for those who have not participated, it's almost as though we do not exist, and I did not expect that penalty, frankly.
So, perhaps I've gotten off topic, but I just want to stress that adding good hubs is important, but give the hubs you write time to cook...) good luck!!!

I have been spending some time on Blackhat forums and websites and am thinking about creating a Hub about it. Purely for information/interest purposes and to educate Hubbers here to the tactics used by scammers & content thieves. I just don't want to get any of my...

We all know that there's so much competition to rank in search engines, and we've all heard that 'content is king', but what does that *really* mean? What it means is that Google is now placing much more importance on the authority, authorship, relevance and uniqueness of the content we create, very...

I am averaging around 6 hubs per week. Not too bad. I am not sure how that compares to the general average, but I would love to know. Also, happy 4th of July to you all!Bruce

How do you like to prepare for a hub?Do you like to write out an outline on paper first or start typing straight away?

I'm sorry if this post offends anybody, but I am really getting tired of people who basically are non English speakers showing up, throwing a hub together without expending any effort to read the forums or the learning center to find out what they should be doing, and then asking for help to...

Just for fun, wondering, on average, how long does it take most Hubbers to create a Hub?I'm finding, on average, it takes me 2-3 hours to create a Hub - that includes creating the content, organizing the layout/adding relevant capsules, etc. I very rarely write my content ahead of time or in a...
