Become a member of other groups, "yahoo" or things like that. You can start a "Facebook, Twitter or Myspace" page. When you do those things you can post your blogs on your site. People will visit your site from there.
it also is helpful to write about things that are interesting to most people.
I have many blogs, some get little traffic and some flood. My art blogs get tons of traffic. I guess people like to see nice drawings for some reason.
