             yeah, your right.  suck was a harsh word that i normally associate with films like "Mortal Kombat", "Street Fighter" live action film, and such.  i should say mediocre and overhyped.  thats a better way of putting it.  i'll give you that.

          Just because someone sees it a lot of times doesn't mean you understand it, agreed? Isn't every movie a marketing ploy?? It's not a tight typical hollywood movie. In fact, it was very anti-hollywood. It's crazy deep. That's why there are so many scholarly essays on it. If you really understood, you would understand that it was a film about philosophy and religion.
          Reference Plato's The Cave...for a modern interpretation check out King Wilbur...then you might get a glipse of what is going on. The movies are about enlightenment. About the philosher's journey into Eros and Agape.

             is that why the wachowski brothers made it to where they themselves were quoted to say, that if you want to understand the full plot of the franchise, you not only have watch the movies, but play and buy their awful game as well.  plus, not all movies marketing ploys.  if you watched any of fredericko fellinis films, or akira kirasawa movies, i would hardly call those commercialised at all.  especially since those two directors always tried to push the envelope of what a great film plot was, using array of trick photography and dramatic story arc. 
             
             heck, the wachowski brothers themselves admitted they stole alot of the plot ideas for the matrix franchise from "ghost in the shell"  an anime that covers alot of the same premise it does, but a lot better in some terms.  the only thing that separates it is the biblical references.  however, even that is subject to interpreatation.  as major matoko even says what makes a person human if all humans are part machine and machines are able to create and have rational thoughts and feelings.  how would you define a soul then?  very much similiar to how the matrix does the same thing when it shows the computer program in the 3rd film trying to escape with his daughter.  such a scene is created to make the audience wonder about whether or not machines have souls too.

                the word 'educate' in this sense...was to make it a point that I was not taking it personally, I was informing him that the movie doesn't suck.
                
                for crying out loud...I'm not even being crazy serious here, more just debating for the hell of debating. When did analyzing a movie turn into: man, this guy is wayyyyyyyy too serious???

                   i apologize if what i said offended you.  its just that i have met a lot of people online before where if you even mention something like I don't care for star trek or something like that.  they take it too personal, to where they'll argue with you until you agree with them that star trek rocks.  just to give you an example.  thought you were one of those types of guys when you seemed so overly eager to want to start a debate over this.  my bad.  i do enjoy friendly debates with people as long as it civil.  its just hard to find one these days thats all.

    ahhh...no...I could really care less if you like the series Stevennix. I was just fighting for it is all...I just see a lot of people down the Martrix series because of the last 2 films. When I first saw them, I was in agreement with you. "Man, this sucks." But I said it because I didn't understand them. Maybe they did take a chance and maybe there were a lot of 'loopholes' in the film, and yes I agree, they did pour a lot of money into marketing and special effects. But there were some serious undertones in the series that many people, including myself, don't fully understand. That's all I was saying.

       well i do agree with you on that.  even though the matrix was overly hyped and there was a lot of loop holes that didn't make any sense to the actualy storyline itself, other to create a great fight scene and set up a video game of the movie.  i just think the wachowski brothers messed up poorly on the execution of the film itself is all i was saying.

    got my last hub up I can get going for about a week or 2..I have still to get everything done for the traade/craft/art show - sale saturday, so tomarrow I will not be online at all, I will be working to get the last of the jewelry and all finishing touches done,then when I get back I got to start blowing glass ( have 22 pieces to make ) , get oils made, and possibly carved marble and incense, not to include my oils and possibly MORE candles and Im out of clothing..it is last on my list and I promised to have my ebay store ready by christmas...I will be in to talk , but another hub is going to be , like I said, another week or 2..
    
    
    all this from a stinking volunter....my body is killing me, no one wants to help the right way and I just need someone to lable things..aaaarrrggghhh...

       yeah girls like that usually only get by on their looks.  thats why you don't hear too much about most of them when they get older.  they're not as hot as girls like you b.c.  you not only have looks, but you also have a brain to match.  thats what makes you very attractive in my book.
