    doing pretty good got a few more hubs up and am kinda pissed too...posted it in another forum...about a 4 year old boy being suspended because of his hair. I'm sorry but that is just plain stupid. that part of the dress code is so stupid! and hello the teachers could have just reminded them nicely to get their son's hair cut but no they just instnatly attack the boy.

       I hate to say it but dress codes are in place for a reason.
       Whether or not this specific instance makes sense or not, i don't know.
       I DO know that there are enough parents and kids out there that will try to get out of a situation by pointing out that others were not treated the same way.  Maybe that had something to do with whatever happened.
       Speaking as a teacher, I know kids who could wear anything they wanted in my classroom if I had MY way because they were good kids.  On the other hand, there were some kids who would take a lapse in dress code as another excuse to cause some sh*t.
       Speaking as a parent, I would probably try that "You're singling out MY kid" defense if I didn't want to deal with the issue.
       If you apply those ideas to the situation you were upset about would it make any difference?

    A preschool should NEVER do something as cruel as suspending a 4 year old just because of his hair. again the teacher could have simply reminded them of the policy instead of jumping straight into suspending him. he 4 years old for goodness sake! and yes dress codes may be there for a reason but not at a d!mn preschool! that is just ridiculous

    Oh, I missed it. Well, gee a hubloo? Maybe I  will. It was quite a challenge I tell ya. I need to finish painting and it will be done. New loo, new tub doors, new ceramic tile floor and trim and fixtures. I am beat! Thanks for the suggestion.
