no it's ok i know i talked with him in e-mails. For some reason the main thing i recall talking about was what was going on with you.
yeah, everyone i told about your predicament were all very worried about you, as was i. however, i'm glad to see your back kerry. things definitely weren't the same without you.
he saved a friends life who by the time he talked them into getting medical care they were almost dead , blood pressure was 98 over 34 and was so dehydrated they could not walk and could barley see or breath bu the time they made it to critical care...
he is too modest to admit he really did save a life, that friend did not think they needed the help that it would just go away on its own and if it was not for his persistence that person would be 6ft underground as we speak dear
Oh Steven, I just wish you realize that by saving your friends life you did way more than keep another body alive, you kept many lives from changing and you made that person realize how lucky they are to have friends, they do not have many but 1 friend like you makes up for 100 friends that would not of stayed with them through the situation. I talked to your friend and she does not know what she would of done without you and is sorry for being stubborn and fighting you about getting help.
lol. okay, if it means that much to you, i'll accept the praise and glory for you, kerry. thank you. (hugs)
maybe steve is trying to say that he did something nice for someone because he has met someone nice like you?
it may be true, and the friend could be me..but I believe Steven has a heart of gold and would of done it for anyone who needed help and was too stubborn to get it themselves. I belive he would of talked anyone into getting help to save a life and stuck by them through it...I believe there is alot more to Steven than what meets the eye...
yeah he might even be a tiny bit more shy and innocent than yors truly!
wsp..I believe you would do it oo if you knew or had a feeling your friend was in a life or death situation but was scared and too stubborn to seek help without you being there, even if by phone to push them to get the help they need..I know its in you , I know you would never let a friend die when you know your kind words and strength to stick with them could talk them into it....I know you have it in you..your just another who is modest untill you realize things realy are not right..and I know Steven realized things were not right and stepped up, out of his shell to be the hero he has become!
yes. You're right but the man is trying to tell you he thinks a lot of you--as do I--and that being around people like you --even online and on the phone-- might well have been what inspired him to do something positive.
I do believe if you realized your friend might be bleeding to death you would be a hro also in the same situation...you never know when a friend is going to need you and I do not belieeve Steven knew his friend needed him in such a serious manner that late night/early morning into the mid morning..
actually that's exactly what i trying to get at. thanks wsp for helping me out there.
np
I think it's the time she spends in her wheelchair.
I know a girl who is pretty much confined to a chair and she thinks i do or have done some good things when SHE is the one who is truly the strong one--fighting off depression and sadness and suicidal thoughts (and all the other bad sh*t that would be in MY head) on a daily basis!
STEVEN...YOU WERE THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF HERO'S on JANUARY 7th...STAND UP, TAKE WHAT YOU DESERVE AND YOU BASK IN THAT GLORY..not everyone gets a chance to save another like you did, BE PROUD OF YOURSELF AND BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU GAVE UP FOR ANOTHER HUMAN LIFE!!!!
wow, thanks kerry, i appreciate that. well i just hope my friend will be okay, and that she realizes just how special she is in my life.
m00... couldn't help myself. for those who should be suckin my nuts, get back to it. to the rest of you, hi until the next sock puppet, to the next ip.
well kerry, im very happy that i was able to help in some way for my friend. however, being around people like you kerry is the only reason why im still on hubpages. in fact, your a bigger inspiration to me kerry than you might think. knowing about alot of the hardships you've been through, is a big inspiration to me.
Steve, I dont know what to say, what you just wrote touched my heart. You are a good hearted, special man...please never lose that quality, please....
Your my hero for what you did for our mutual friend, she really was not gonna get help but you talked her into it....no doctor could of talked her into it the way you did...never, ever, ever forget that!
Now Utterly Speachless, she really is since I have been staying with her for the last few days
meds are making her very tired, she is wearing down quickly tonight, I saw about 5 minutes, maybe 10 I will have to get her another pillow and let her rest till morning med time, the incision is starting to hurt hr=er quite a bit and its a few more hours till meds
i thought people will stop posting here....but gosh is never going to end:)
from my fav Neruda poem:
But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.
isn't he the absolute tops!
"a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me"
The shibari knots were artfully tied and as he stood back to admire his work his mischevious mind contemplated how he might pleasure his prisoner.
She stared at him in wide-eyed fear, her body trmelbing beneath her bonds.
suddenly, there was a knock at the door and at the same moment a terrific gust of wind blew the window open! she screamed!
Music by Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man - would be appropriate right here.
The front way was out of the question. There were police cruisers pulling up even as he rose and brushed himself off.
two days later, the police were still puzzling over the girl (who had recovered nicely from her hysteria and was now staying in a motel, courtesy of the police dept.) Why had she screamed? when she was obviously unhurt and in a rather anticipatory state. No signs of any dispute or fighting in that room. . .
I didn't get all that. i generally only recoginze profanity en espanol.
You know, like chinga tu madre or whatever it is.
ok wasnt sure if that was lord or father and a couple other words i couldnt figure ot either

This has been perplexing me for a while - has something changed or have I just gone ga-ga?Being in a different time zone from most Hubbers, I rely on being able to click the "Your" button to catch up with who's posted on threads since I commented.Recently I've been missing comments...
