Hello again to everyone of my dear friends, how is everyone this evening?
decided to spend some tie sitting up , I did my moving around earlier, I think I overslept today because I am wide awake now and someone is watching tv in the shared livingroom and I do not feel much like watching what they are watching , Maybe tomarrow, after the doc stops by, he will take me off this bed rest and let me drive again, he might even take out the stitches so I can take a regular shower...that is what I am most excited about!
It is funny the littlest things we take for granted sometimes until we have a period of time when we can not do them.
awesome, more reading for me soon then, hopefully I will feel like sitting up for extended periods of time very soon and can start a good one myself that you might be interested in?
I have had alot of thinking time, and a trip down memory lane with some bands I have met and some people I kow that just might interest you, I will be certain to include many photos with the very large hub I will write , some just might make you smile and some even laugh
*yawn* there's no action here tonight....must be Friday (or early Saturday...)
Hey Steven! Just really, really booorrrreeedddd!!!!
How about you?
im doing okay. just working on a few hubs before the night is over. why so bored? long day at the office?
yeah, too much driving too. Have to be up in 4 hours for another long drive...ski hill for biathlon for my son....
what are you writing about (or can I ask)?
oh a requested review of "across the universe" and something for the hubmob. i was going to do a article on the history of valentines day for the hubmob's topic. im sorry to hear you had a long day though. are you going to be okay?
plus, you know you can always ask me anything. besides, what are friends for?
ur too sweeet. Thought I'd try one for hubmob too this week...thought a funny one on all the proposals I've had...but don't want to piss anyone off out there... lol
thanks beth, so are you. really? what were you going to propose? im sure it's not that bad.
oh by the way, this isn't my cat. i wrote a poem about how in war there are no winners, and this was one of the pics i have for it. i liked it so much, i decided to use it as an avatar. you like it?
Yeah, really cute. The proposals are the ones I've received from men... lol I think I've told you about that...on average, one per year. I could probably write a short novel on the marriage proposals I've recieved! lol But, I don't want it to sound like I'm boasting, or worse, looking like I'm an insensitive partner.... It could go either way if you know what I mean....
oh yeah, i remember you told me that once. i think you should, i know i'd read it. of course, i always love reading anything you write though. however, i think any guy would be lucky to be with you beth, so i'm not surprised a lot of guys like you though.
hello there Steven, the modest hero in disguise
Im up for a bit, hoping when the doc comes to the house tomarrow he pulls me off most of these restrictions...bedrest is driving me crazy!!! lol
thanks beth, i appreciate it. well i can't take all the credit, a friend of mine opened a hub about me last night that helped get me a lot of new fans. if it wasn't for her, i don't think i would've gotten to a 100 today.
Which hub? I'll have to read it...later in the day, but let me know
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/33177#top
its this one.
You are a friend. And, you would have reached the 100 marker soon, as I've been watching.... You're doing great!
Gonna go and meditate before I head out for the long drive - snowing and icy conditions. Talk soon! - xxx
oh yes...Dr is coming at 1 pm tomarrow , so lets hope he pulls me off bedrest so i can spend more time talking to all my dear friends here and you, you big FLIRT Steve ...lol
oh, Steve can actually vouge ( sp? ) for my new doctor i have been with for 5 weeks now..he is not a quack , and trust me..i have spent most of my 30 some years dealing with quacks..I finally found a compassionate one who is old fashioned and takes all matters very seriously...since I have multiple diagnoses's, I have all 5 of his phone numbers, his home address, and he does not take many patients unless you meet a certain criteria, and yes..he is the only one I have ever met that will talk directly to me on the phone, make house calls and this last week when I almost died came to see me everynight, driving 30 plus miles in blizzard conditions with his wife who is a Nurse Practitioner..I am suing a doctor that I was with for 7 years, I think Steve told and explained it, but it is NOT my current doctor..this guy has done more for me in 5 weeks than my last doctor did i 7 years..my first visit he found a cancerous tumor that the old dr I am suing wrote off as nothing, 7 years ago he saw it as a glitch on film and never followed up on it, it was the size of a pencil dot then, my new doctor, who does house calls and is very selective of his patients and does not advertise ( it was a sheer fluke I found him, god must of decided it was time or some kind of spiritual intervention happened that day, but that pencil dot is no longer a pencil dot and is now the size of an egg on my spinal cord and the new doctor is having it removed asap, but he has some other medical issues he must get under controll for me first) but that first visit lasted over 4 hours, all new re-testing was done and that so called "dot" on the screen is found to be a cancerous tumor ) My new doctor will treat me at my home if I can not get to him and so will his wife, even if it is 3 am Christmas morning...
I will be 33 years old in may, I have many genetic issues , nothing contagious, but the old dr even had me on the wrong meds and had been treating me for issues I do not have...
a miracle did happen I found this new doctor and with Stevens help , I will just come out and say it, my life was saved January 7th..I was afraid to bother this new doctor due to how doctors have treated me previously, Steven was determined I call and go get help and this new doctor took it serious and by the time I got to the hospital I was critical...and now I know I can call my new doctor anytime day or night ..any day or night and Steven will be on the line with me untill help arrives..
I know this is long and might be confusing, but I think my luck is changing healthwise, even though i am on bed rest still tonight...but Stevennix and the good doc kept me alive so I could be here to ramble on to you tonight.
No more hiding behind the word friend..
I am the person Steven saved January 7th, 2010
to pay him back for what he did would take me a miracle.
you are absolutly correct, lupus, 3 rounds of cancer, spinal malformation, degenerative disk disease, a very nasty accident I somehow survived, 3 brain mengionoma's, P.A.D., Raynaud's disease, a heart murmer, plus a few other minor things and it took this long to find a doctor I will never let go of..and the funny thing is for 6 years he has only been about 5 minutes away from my home and I never knew he existed!
to be honest, i was put through hell most of my life running from doctor to specialist all over the state, who were all quacks..and I now see 1 person qualified to care for me completly this close to home...
and yes, Steven is the one who did save my life, if he would of not hung on and made me stay awake and do what I had to force myself to do, I would be burried by now...my Blood pressure from loss of blood that morning/night was 89 over 53..or something that seriously low..it is posted exactly in a post about Steven and his "friend" I put up last night..
thanks kerry for the kind words. im just glad your safe, as i know things around here wouldn't be the same, at least for me because your one of people i like talking to on here a lot.
I will be right back, I promise..I gotta get some fluids ( still a tad dehydrated) and prop up some pillows and take a few meds...don't go running off now silly
I just had a big plate of chicken pie I cooked and am not happy. The pastry underneath was raw the filling was runny grrrrr.
Any good cooks about?
Sure heaps left let the pie go around I say.
oh hun, Im feeling better, now I just got to get clearance from the doc tomarrow..but I will admitt I have been sleeping most of the days away since i was released from the hospital..mentally I feel alot more like myself and physically, its gonna take a little more time, but I am feeling a bit better by the day
Well, sometimes we NEED time in bed.
I know I sure wouldn't mind more time in bed!
i agree. especially if time in bed means being with a pretty girl like kerry.
my dear Steven...you gave up alot of sleep for me in my time of medical crisis....something no one else would do...all I know is you are a very special person and it is too bad there are not more people like you in this world today, you are the kindest, most giving, caring, unselfish person I have even been graced to be in aquaintence with..even though we are 1000 miles apart and have yet to meet in person..You gave up more than just one night and day for me, this leaves me in tears and speachless because if we would of never met online and never spoke on the phone we would of never became as close of friends as we are and I would of rolled over, went to sleep and never woke up again, but your persistence kept m awake and kept me going, almost down to the last minute of conciousness...
I someday hope you realize what a miracle of a thing you have done and to even take time out of your days and nights to check on me while in critical care.....you, my dear friend, are the last of a dying breed, we need more people like you on this planet or I am afraid to find out what the future holds when we finally lose the very few people with your compassion and love for others..

I have set myself a little task (or it might be a massive task, if the 99th person has many hubs!) to read their hubs and leave a genuine comment on every hub i read of the 99th person to post! The prize is obviously that i will read all their hubs and leave a comment on every one of the hubs...

This has been perplexing me for a while - has something changed or have I just gone ga-ga?Being in a different time zone from most Hubbers, I rely on being able to click the "Your" button to catch up with who's posted on threads since I commented.Recently I've been missing comments...
