         I have bookmarked and saved everything, and I have also gone down to my local church, and I discovered a sister of my great gran that i never knew she had! it is getting weirder and weirder! the funny thing is I found a photo, and the little girl looked just like me when I was small, and the spooky, no I mean really spooky thing is that she is dressed just like you see in the ghost films, long dress, bow trailing down the side of her hair, and the picture was very moody and atomspherie if I can make up the word! ha ha

            I trace my tree back to Turkey in 1150 and did not find a lot of wierd stuff. pretty much just run of the mill.

               wow, that is a long way back, I hope I can get even half that far, I just hope I can find some either living near me, or some in Canada, so I can go out and meet them, if they want too. I am not going to give up on it yet as i want to find something out! It will probably be really boring stuff, but you never know!

                  I was fortunat in finding a distant cousin who lives in Canada. We have e-mailed a couple of times and he has helped put many pieces in place for me. Where are you from?

                     I live in Marlow Buckinghamshire, England, but the funny thing is that on my dads side, his grandfather was evidently Canadian, but he didn't know until he was older, because my grandad thought his sister was his sister, but in fact she was his mother! not a good idea in 1903! so all we know was he was a Canadian soldier, and on my mums side, her great Aunt married a Canadian Called E. Quinton and went to live in Vancouver, or Vancouver island.

    It may be hard to trace your lineage very far because of the mass destruction of government buildings in Europe during the World Wars. It seems that a lot of my German ancestors moved to Switzerland befor coming to America which made them easier for me to track. I hope you have a bit of luck like I did. If I can help in any way please let me know.

       ouch! I could never do that! My body clock likes me to work later in the day, but it doesn't work that way! I may be sat in the office at 9 but my brain doesn't wake up until 12! night nice to chat, I will get there in a minute! oh, don't want too!
