I know hubpages is having some difficulties but my number of views ever has plummeted by roughly 30%. I appreciate any assistance you can offer.
Tonight. No, I didn't stop promoting my hubs, the thing is, views ever should never go down. It's an always increasing number, never decreasing. I believe this has something to do with HubPages issues recently with the updating of views, I certainly appreciate both of your concern.
Well, you do have a point. Do you get your info from Google Analytics?
The numbers I'm referring to are within the "My Account Stats" on Hubpages, but I do use Google Analytics as well. I ordinarily wouldn't care because I do use Analytics, but that number dropping slows me down from reaching more milestones. I hope it gets rectifies as it did with bgpappa. Thank you for your concern John.
@bgpappa: I'm glad to hear they fixed it for you. I imagine that Hubpages is going through some growing pains because of their new found glory
I think he means total page views. At one point mine went down as well but now is back up and beyond

The number of page views is the same number for the last two days. No change in views. Neither one less nor one more. How could it be?

Why is there a difference in number of page views in Adsense and Analytics?I note that Anaytics shows a higher number of page views than Adsense - i.e. just views, not clicks. The total of views given on Hubpages itself is different again, but I appreciate that may include your own visits to...

I know, this is the umpteenth thread on traffic - just wanted to check if others saw any odd patterns the past few days? My numbers climbed a bit, and were holding steady at a good number, and literally overnight have dropped by about a third (again). It's becoming time consuming and...

I know that views in "my account" are based on a 24 hour period and not a calendar day. That said, all through yesterday when I checked my account, it didn't show a number related to traffic Analytics is reporting for yesterday.Since I didn't check my analytics until this morning, I could...
