my traffic has increased 2-fold, but I'm not making any money on adsense. any suggestions?
I took a quick look at a random hub of yours, "How to Hit a Backhand". The Hub looks nice (maybe "too" nice and informative), but I saw only a couple of ads, and they were only in the right sidebar, and even worse, the ads were about golf, not tennis.
No ads at top of your text, nor any in or next to the first few paragraphs. Make sure your Hubs are enabled to show the maximum number of ads, and experiment with text module size and other modules to get the ads to show where they need to.
Also, ten Hubs is a good start, but not nearly enough. You need many more Hubs, targeting keywords that people actually are searching for, not just what you think is a good idea. Then when they get to your Hubs, they will need to click on the ads in your Hubs to REALLY find out what they're looking for. You want them to go away by clicking on an ad, not going to another Hub.
Search for "SEO" and "keywords" and "Google Adwords Keyword Tool" here or on the web.
Hubs usually need some tuning to get them earning better. It also helps if you are actually writing about some facet of your topic that has a bit of a retail angle.

I got into an interesting discussion on another thread, and thought it would make a good thread itself. The question of the day is how do you feel about other hubbers clicking on an ad in your hubs?Personally I really don't see a problem with it as long as the ad interests them from a good quality...

I'm curious if anyone has tested by a month to month basis whether or not you make more with Adsense alone or with HP Ads?It's impossible to do a true split test, since each month will be different, but I'm curious to hear your results...Some of us won't get a lot of traffic so Adsense might be...

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...

I am puzzled because even when my traffic gets a bit better (low for some, but still good for me right now), my CTR rate for Google is almost always nothing. I get something from Google about once a month, if that, with 58 hubs written. Does anyone else find the CTR quite poor for hubpages, or is...
