    Yes indeed, Lita. I hope that unfortunate animal wasn't injured. It must be in a lot of trauma to understand what is going on. Very sad to see when animals can't communicate there anguish to us. I hope it was rescued soon.

       That's exactly what I thought when I saw it.  I cannot stand seeing animals trapped.  Last summer I had to rescue a bunch of baby ducks that got trapped in a drain on a busy street.  The mama duck was FREAKING OUT!  Poor mama.  I finally got the strength (with another passerby) to pull off the grate and get them out.  The mom literally showed us where she wanted them to go.  We put them in a pet carrier and followed her to a pond quite nearby.  It was heart-wrenching.  But, they were all fine.
