good answer before, however I am computer challenged and I don't quite understand how you all do that. I see that symbol on some hubs and poems and want to do that myself. Please help and remember, I am a computer idiot. I've gone to the creative commons site and still don't understand. This is crucial, because I've written some poems, I know no one will steal them, but humor me and pretend that they might. Now when you see them, don't die laughing, and be kind, you might try your hand at it one day, and want my critique, and I have a long memory, well not really! LOL! LOL! Thanks all!

I thought I knew the answer to that a long time ago.But now I'm all confused again.For the last time,are all my published and future hubs copyrighted?Do I need to protect it via an outside site or source?Or it is adviceable to do so?And what are the proper steps to take if we do notice somebody out...

So, it has come to my attention that copyrighting things may be a pretty good idea. I was wondering how you guys are doing it.I understand that one can register with the actual copyright office for a small fee (naturally), but that seems a little extreme. I just want to protect myself and my work....

How do you copyright your hub?Some hubs have the copyright symbol on them. How do you go about getting your hub a copyright in order to keep it from being stolen?

I love the new "copyright infringement" symbols that appear by hubs that seem to have had content copied or scraped, but is there a way to make the symbol disappear when the other site has your permission? Several of mine that have "duplicate content" are articles I sold...
