Everybody has a phobia of some sort, My Phobia is heights, I am terrified of heights, I get a sensational erg to jump and for this reason I am stay away from heights, just in case i did jump.
Weird thing is I love flying. Maybe this is why I get the erg to jump.
What is your phobia?
roaches (when I was a kid I would have dreams of giant roaches as big as cars, invading cities and we had to run away from them or we would die...still gives me the heebee jeebees...)
I'm afraid of Werewolves. This is wierd because I love dogs and have been running from big dogs with no real fear until I was meeter reading for the city. But I have been afraid of werewolves since I first laid eyes on them.
I honestly don't have any. There are things I don't like. Like walking into a dark room, or clowns. But I don't have phobias at all. Which makes me the odd man out!
Heights I have had this phobia since I had the honors of going to the Sears Tower may moons ago. I became nauseous and light-headed.
Used to be mice (but havent seen any for a long time) so that phobia is dormant, lol
COCOROACHES or any other bugs that suddenly appear or scurry nearby
I hate their habits
I hate their rotating heads
I hate their searching feelers
I hate their bug eyes following every movement
I hate their crawling,scurring,furtive movements
Did I tell you I dont like cockroaches!
I'm with you there. Cockroaches (yuck!) and any flying insects. We have these big flying cockroaches in Florida--yuck!
Also, needles and heights. Hard to believe I'm terrified of heights and yet I jumped out of airplanes and rappelled from helicopters when I was in the Army.
Phobias: snakes, heights, and furry creatures.... I know, but when I was 8 years old living in the Bahamas my father jumped into my bedroom wearing a costume made of fur and fangs on my birthday.....
I'm personally afraid of people who have claimed to see werewolves...
Oh, werewolves aren't so bad, they're just misunderstood! ha

Do you believe Phobias are of a higher, Important significance to us than the general view of them?

What phobias do you have, if any?

We all have phobias without exceptions, but the question is, how do we generate them? Some people are afraid of spiders (Arachnophobia) but others don't, some are afraid of funny things like fear of number 13 (Triskaidekaphobia)! Why is that?

Do you have any actual phobias? If so, would you be willing to share how they affect your life? Please don't answer this question if you aren't comfortable about your private health info being on the web. And you know what they say: once on the web, always on the web.
